Teacher as Learner
This dimension of the teaching profession involves considering oneself as a learner (e.g. values, strengths, areas for growth). Specifically, this dimension includes the ability to:
- Articulate core ethical values about teaching
- Articulate a clear position about the role of the teacher in the school, the community, and the broader society.
- Demonstrate awareness of professional strengths and how those will serve students.
- Identify specific growth areas and actively pursue support for ongoing growth.
